month: September 2010

Another fabulous shoot at my new favorite spot, northerly island.  Ann and Tony are good friends of ours, and we just don’t get to see them often enough:

AY1

And here is their little cutie, Charlotte:

AY2

I loved this great open field

AY3

Charlotte seemed to enjoy it too.

AY4

One of the gorgeous paths in the park:

AY5

I think Charlotte looks just like her mom, wouldn’t you agree?

AY6

A few fun shots along the beach.

AY7

Charlotte stole her mom’s shoes and really enjoyed it.

AY8

AY9

A nice family portrait with the last bit of light left before the sun went down.

AY10

Thanks for a great session guys!! I can’t wait to see you again!

Welcome little Sam to the blog! He just turned a year old and was a non-stop smiling machine for the entire shoot! He was playing hide and seek with me from the moment I arrived. Adorable!

SF6

They live up in Lincoln Square and there were so many different parks to walk through, and on such a gorgeous day…

SF5

This was at the fountain in Lincoln Square. Sam was having a blast!

SF1

What a cutie!

SF9

I’ll leave you with my favorite moment from that day. Pete and Lynn are so in love with their little one, and after spending just a little bit of time with them I can understand why.

SF7

Thanks for such an incredible session!

I wish I could take complete credit for the way this session turned out. Annalisa, however, knew the location we were going to and chose the most PHENOMENAL dress to match the location. Yes, she’s that good. Since she was due at the end of September, we decided to shoot her session at the end of August so she could show off her baby bump in its full glory (she is very petite and fit so didn’t start showing until very late). Here are a few of my favorites!

AM7

Lisa – can you please teach me how to look this good while 8 months pregnant?

AM5

AM8

AM6

We had some fun walking along this beach:

AM3

And Jay of course was more than happy to talk to his baby girl:

AM2

Lisa got a little tired of having Jay listening and talking to her belly, so she decided to turn the tables on him.

AM4

My favorite shot from this session:

True story: Two days later, Annalisa gave birth to her baby girl, Raina. She couldn’t wait and arrived four weeks early! Congratulations Lisa and Jay!

They met during college at Boston U, which is where their love for the Red Sox began. And now, several years later, they have their own little Red Sox minions :)  Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Gordon family, who are very good friends of ours. Their youngest, Luke has just turned one year old, and to celebrate this milestone they decided to have some family photos taken. Luke was lounging on the porch waiting for us to arrive. (Note: No underage drinking occurred during this photo shoot.)

BG8

Here’s the whole fam. Yay for baseball! (Even if it isn’t my team!)

BG1

Luke was a little wary of my camera at first, but I did end up catching a few smiles!

BG6

BG3

Such a handsome little guy!

BG2

And introducing his big sister Grace!

BG5

She is too cute!

BG4

BG0

Grace loves her little brother very much!

BG7

Grandma and Grandpa met up with us for a few more pictures at the end of the day:

BG9

Thanks Beverly & Matthew for a great session! Justin and I had a blast!

Another gorgeous little butterfly graces the blog today :) Meet little Alexis, who is currently three months old! When Deana contacted me about this shoot she had butterfly wings on her mind… I had no idea she’d be choosing my favorite color in the world – purple!  (insert happy dance here!) And on this gorgeous doll, the photo shoot was a dream. Here are a few images, enjoy!

A02

This was more of an outtake but I love the feeling of it! Her parents are crazy about her, clearly!

A03

Couldn’t you just eat her up?!
